Shepherd Thermoforming’s core philosophy has always been to treat our associates well so that we’re able to retain them for the long run.
Our latest success story lies in one of our Co-Op students from Humber College who joined us in the Spring of 2016. We would like to welcome Harpal Singh or known to most at Shepherd Thermoforming as “Paul”.
During the time of his co-op, Paul was completing the Mechanical Engineering Technology program and spent much of his time at our company learning how to build thermoforming tools. Paul also learned the importance of understanding how tools needed to work in production and how engineering interacted with other facets of the business to see a project from launch to a successful completion.
The co-op term is a great opportunity for employers to see just how well a student will fit into their environment. Paul fit in very well and his skills learned from Humber landed him the full time position as a Project Engineer at Shepherd shortly after graduating. His work ethic and enthusiasm has been a welcome addition to the department.
We invite you to send us your project for Paul and the rest of our Engineering team to undertake at Shepherd.
