Tray for Chocolate bar Assortment

Our customer is flow-wrapping the tray containing an assortment of popular chocolate bars for sale in the big box stores. The package is sold standing on edge in bulk displays. The vertical positioning was causing the chocolate bars to fall out of the tray, resulting in complaints from the retailers. Shepherd solved the problem by designing the tray with undercut features on the sidewalls of each cavity to prevent the chocolate bars from falling out. The trays are made from recycled PET using machined aluminum tooling.
