The pool, spa and bathtub industry uses the thermoforming process. Although Shepherd does not produce the main components because of the specialized nature of the equipment, we do thermoform panels and accessory components for the industry.

Shepherd has rotary formers and CNC trimming equipment that make the production of standard components more efficient than the heavier shuttle style needed by the customer to produce the tub. Specialized materials are common for this purpose and Shepherd has the knowledge and experience needed to form and trim these materials efficiently.
