Candy Tray

This high-end chocolate company needed a gold insert formed and trimmed to fit the heart shaped, windowed box. Shepherd used a metallized PVC film that requires special forming techniques to produce 2 sizes of this insert. The heating of the film during the forming process is critical to avoid the deterioration of the metallized coating. Shepherd will design trays for all types of confectionery and select the material type that is required for the application. All prototype and production tooling is made in-house.
