Bee-Hive Frame and Sales Container

This product has been written up in several publications and has won the Dupont Award shown on the awards page in this website. It is a system patented by an Ontario company to replace the conventional wooden beehive frames used by the bees to deposit their honey, with food grade RPET frames. These frames were designed by Shepherd and are currently in their third year of production.

Shepherd also thermoforms a lid that fits securely to the pre-cut sections of the frames after the bees have filled them with natural honey. They are then labeled and sold in retail outlets.  If you would like to learn more see our Shepherd Newsletter Volume 1, Issue 1 (page 4).
